Join us for Emergency Preparedness Month with four discussions focusing on emergency preparedness within the DMV region. These discussions begin on Thursday, September 10th and run every Thursday until October 1st at 10:00am. The four discussions will be led my Emergency Preparedness Committee Members who will share how they responded to the life safety issues of the pandemic and civil unrest. Then we have a facilitated discussion with other members to explore other solutions to the challenges we are all experiencing. 

  • Thursday, September 10th: Masks + Social Distancing
  • Thursday, September 17th: Emergency Preparedness Communications 
  • Thursday, September 24th: Past Civil Unrest
  • Thursday, October 1st: Fire Prevention and Drills 

On Thursday, September 10th, three property managers who manage properties in Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia, will discuss:

  • How they've complied with the mask regulations in each jurisdiction
  • How they've adjusted their lobbies for re-occupancy
  • How they've shifted their building operations to comply with social distancing 
  • And, what they plan to do throughout the next 12-18 months
