Brandy Peak Joins AOBA as Director of Education, Programs, Meetings and Events
“I am delighted to announce that Brandy Peak, CAE, has joined the AOBA team as Director of Education, Programs, Meetings and Events,” said AOBA Executive Vice President Peggy Jeffers. “Brandy’s innovative leadership style and deep knowledge of association best practices will strengthen member engagement through quality, relevant professional development and networking opportunities. In just one month’s time, she has already made a positive impact on the member experience.”
Prior to joining AOBA, Brandy worked for the California Apartment Association where she managed the events in Northern California and Sacramento, including their largest event, the CAA Connect Conference and Expo. She is a Certified Association Executive through the American Society of Association Executives. Her previous roles include Director of Membership and Professional Development at the Indiana Apartment Association where she was responsible for statewide recruitment and retention, in addition to 35 courses and certification programs throughout the state. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and gender from Illinois State University and a master’s degree in nonprofit management from DePaul University.
