Join us for a facilitated discussion on the three emergency measures adopted by the DC Council as part of the District’s response to the COVID-19 public health emergency. The laws include several provisions that impact owners/managers and other AOBA members.

 Eric J. Jones, MSF, AOBA’s Vice President of Government Affairs, DC-Commercial will lead the discussion on adopted provisions that impact the property management industry in the District. Eric will address a wide range of topics covered in emergency legislation adopted by the Council.

These include a mortgage relief program, limits on commercial and residential rent increases, debt collection restrictions, expansion of paid leave, the tolling of residential tenant notices to vacate, commercial and residential evictions, the extension of TOPA deadlines and more.
