Members to Celebrate Earth Day on April 22

Many AOBA members will celebrate Earth Day on April 22 with a variety of sustainability events. Worldwide, various events are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First celebrated in 1970, Earth Day events in more than 193 countries are now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network.

Interesting fact (contributed by Lenkin Company Management):
It takes a pound of coal to generate 1 kilowatt hour of electricity – the same amount that could be saved each day by turning off a light (100 watt bulb for 10 hours), shutting down a computer and monitor overnight, or adjusting the thermostat one degree overnight.  Help make an impact on this Earth Day!
