DC Council Multifamily Briefing

We are excited to offer this unique opportunity for members to engage with DC Councilmembers and their staffs. Members will have a forum to share their perspectives on challenges facing multifamily rental housing providers within a welcoming and unintimidating group setting. These meetings will form the bedrock of new relationships and strengthen existing ones with the elected officials representing your communities, making a significant difference in AOBA’s advocacy efforts on behalf of the industry.
Each meeting will consist of 5-6 members, with slots allotted on a first come first serve basis. On the registration page, members can choose which meetings to attend. Council members will join us on a rotating schedule from 9:00am - Noon on September 24 and September 25.
The meeting schedule will be posted once it is confirmed along with the virtual prep meeting where staff will provide a brief overview of the Council’s work on housing issues, outline a list of priority areas to focus on during the following day's meetings, and advise on best practices regarding effective communication with elected officials.
