On Monday, December 9, 2019, the ULI Young Leaders Group and its Real Estate 101 Committee will host its next event: "What is 'PropTech'?" It's the new buzzword in the industry and it's gaining heavy traction – but if you feel
like something just flew over your head, you are not alone. Our goal is to demystify this vague concept and make you the latest expert!  We will explain how "PropTech" refers to any innovative technology for the real estate space, and demonstrate how CRE professionals of all backgrounds can leverage these technologies to work smarter and create value.

We have assembled a group of industry professionals and PropTech savants who have first-hand knowledge of these new technologies and how will they will influence existing and new development, including:

  • Mitchell N. Schear, Executive Partner, Camber Creek (moderator)
  • Tiffany Butcher, Executive Vice President – Residential and Retail Asset Management, JBG Smith
  • Daniel Ressler, Senior Project Manager, James G. Davis Construction Corporation
  • Khushbu Sikaria, Vice President – Innovation & Product Development, Bozzuto Management Company
  • Caesar Nguyen, Director of Real Estate | Mid-Atlantic, Common

We look forward to seeing you on Monday, December 9, 2019, and thank you for your participation!

Following the #PropTechPanel, attendees are encouraged to join us for informal cocktails, networking, and socializing.

Note: If you are new to ULI, we encourage you to arrive a little earlier (5:45PM) for pre-event networking. The Real Estate 101 Committee will be there to greet you and introduce you to members of the community.  You can identify RE101 Committee members by the red committee ribbon on the bottom of their badge.  Please let a registration desk staffer know that you are a new member!
