Karen Jennings is a Senior Property Manager at Newmark Knight Frank where she oversees day-to-day management of Ballston Metro Center containing approximately 233,000 square feet in the bustling Rosslyn/Ballson Corridor submarket of Arlington County. In addition, she is President of the Ballston Mutual Association which oversees the common area of a mixed use parcel consisting of the office, condo and hotel. Karen’s direct responsibilities include supervising all aspects of building operations, preparing monthly financial statements and annual operational budgets, maintaining strong relationships with her office and retail tenants, as well as representing Newmark Knight Frank and her clients within the local Arlington Community.
Karen credits her professional success to the mentoring she received from senior management, the interactive work environment Newmark Knight Frank promotes and her progressive experience of nearly thirty years.
In 2010, the Arlington County Board of Supervisors approved the formation of the the Ballston Business Improvement Corporation, the 501-C6 entity that owns and operates the Ballston BID, where Karen continues to work diligently as a founding member of its Board of Directors. Karen is also a member of the Institute of Real Estate Mangement (IREM), where she holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation and is active in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and Career Real Estate Women (CREW).
