and the American Jobs Plan!

In March of 2021, Congress passed The American Rescue Plan. This legislation contained 1.9 trillion dollars in spending to address the pandemic on a range of issues. Currently, the President has proposed, and Congress is considering The American Jobs Plan, also known as the Infrastructure proposal. Over the last several months there has been considerable discussion on these federal legislative efforts. With respect to The American Rescue Plan the focus has been on how assistance is being distributed, what are the key programs and how do we advocate for assistance for our industry. The American Jobs Plan, only a proposal at this point, raises questions for our industry about energy policy, labor issues, climate change, and importantly, how will such a large effort be funded.
