Plan to Join Us for this annual program! Special Olympics Challenge Day at James E. Duckworth School

Friday, May 19, 9:00am to 1:00pm. (Rain or Shine)

All members are invited to cheer on students as they compete in the annual Special Olympics competition; however due to security regulations, advance planning is required.

Please Note: The Prince George's County Department of Education has NEW security regulations that apply to this event at the Duckworth School. For security purposes, anyone planning to attend MUST complete an "online commercial background check."

Members need to complete their background check by May 12th!

The background check costs $7.26, takes approx. 2 to 5 days, and may be accessed once you register online at https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ver2/register/getsignup
See step by step instructions to help you through the process at the website above, which takes about 5 minutes.

Once you have confirmation of your security check, please email it to Eliot Hubbell, ehubbell@aoba-metro.org or bring it with you, along with your photo ID, on May 19th.

During this special event, members will assist with various games and with the Chinese Auction (all proceeds benefit the school), as well as other jobs as needed.

This year, AOBA is selling a NEW Tee Shirt for members to wear at this event and beyond!  The shirt is $20 and proceeds go to the Duckworth School.  ORDER your Tee Shirt today by downloading this form!
