On February 8, the Apartment and Office Building Association of Metropolitan Washington (AOBA) and the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will sponsor a seminar for commercial building owners and managers on benchmarking in Montgomery County. The briefing will focus on lessons learned from the first reporting year and recommendations for those required to report data on or before June 1, 2017. Representatives will provide an overview of the benchmarking law and summarize available reporting information and statistics. AOBA owner/manager members will provide the commercial owner/manager perspectives.
