FREE Program on Dec. 14th: Recycling in Commercial Office Properties

Thursday, December 14, 2017
9:30 AM - 11:00 AM (EST)
Category: Advocacy

AOBA is pleased to partner with the Fairfax County Department of Solid Waste’s Recycling Division to offer members a special opportunity on Dec. 14th to learn about best practices for recycling programs in commercial office properties.

AOBA recently received inquiries from members seeking assistance to drive up recycling rates and engage tenants in recycling efforts at their properties.  In particular, restaurant and retail tenants seem to pose unique challenges.  In response, we have arranged for Fairfax County’s expert staff to share their advice for working with tenants to comply with regulatory requirements and meet your company’s recycling goals.

The program will cover:

  • An overview of recycling regulations for commercial properties in Fairfax County
  • Best practices and case studies for engaging tenants in recycling efforts
  • Resources and materials available to assist in implementing a recycling plan on site

Details for the event are as follows:
