This will be an in-person live, instructor-led course with 
offline group work and reading assignments. 

This course is for leasing consultants, concierges, and career changers with hospitality, retail, or customer service experience. Earning the CALP credential, many people’s first industry credential shows your employer that you’re committed to a career in residential property management.

  • Reviewing the next steps in the sales process with prospective residents

  • Preparing and reviewing leases with new residents
  • The move-in process
  • Responding to resident issues and maintenance requests with appropriate follow-up
  • Building relationships with residents and creating a sense of community
  • Reporting incidents, maintaining documentation, and taking corrective action
  • Maximizing revenue and operational efficiency
  • Securing and processing lease renewals
  • Conducting a market survey

Arianna Royster


Arianna K. Royster, CPM is the Principal of Consultique,LLC.  Arianna recently retired as the President of Borger Residential where she directed the company's operations and implemented many automation initiatives.  Under her leadership the company grew from two thousand units to ten thousand.  Arianna serves on the Board of Directors of AOBA. She served on the NAA and EI BOD and received the Chairmans Award in 2024. She served as the Region 1 Vice President for ten years. She is a NAAEI and Montgomery College faculty member.  She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.  She has a passion for education and community service and currently serves on several non-profit Boards.
