2017 AOBA/VAMA Lobby Day

AOBA members are invited and encouraged to attend our annual lobby days that AOBA jointly hosts with the Virginia Apartment and Management Association (VAMA) at the Virginia General Assembly.  We are excited to offer members this unique opportunity to experience the legislative process firsthand and contribute to the industry’s advocacy efforts.  Participating members will engage in the legislative process and build relationships with elected officials representing the various districts where member properties are located. Members will also have the chance to meet with legislators face-to-face to educate them on specific bills of importance to the industry. 

Staff will provide a briefing on issues pending before the legislature, talking points and other materials and will facilitate meetings with Delegates, Senators and other key policymakers.

Member engagement in the policy process makes a significant impact and the Lobby Days offer an easy way to make a difference in an unintimidating group setting.
