Cynthia serves as Vice President of Communications at the Apartment and Office Building Association (AOBA) of Metropolitan Washington, where she leads strategic communications initiatives that strengthen the association’s voice, engage members, and advance its mission. She oversees communications across digital, social media, publications, multimedia, and other platforms, while supporting AOBA’s advocacy and government affairs efforts.
With more than a decade of experience in communications, community engagement, public policy, and creative strategy, Cynthia brings a multidisciplinary approach to telling stories, building audiences, and connecting organizations with the communities they serve. Her work spans strategic communications, graphic and integrated design, digital content, website development, social media, video production, and community outreach.
Cynthia holds a Master of Arts in Integrated Design from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is also a graduate of Leadership Montgomery’s Emerging Leaders Program and is fluent in Spanish. Her passion lies at the intersection of communications, design, and strategy—using creative storytelling to build stronger connections and amplify an organization’s impact.
