AOBA Event Policy
Attendee Cancellation Policy
The cancellation deadline for events is two weeks prior to the beginning of an event. Before that date, refunds will be given less a $50 processing fee. After that date, no refunds will be given but replacement registrants are welcomed. Cancellations and replacement registrants should be submitted in writing to the staff person listed on the event.
Event Cancellation Policy
If for any reason AOBA needs to cancel a live event, the following refund policy will apply.
Attendee will have the option to receive:
- An 80% refund of registration fees, OR
- A 100% credit toward an AOBA event within the next 12 months, up to the amount paid
Registration, attendance at, or participation in AOBA meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to AOBA’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videos, electronic reproductions, and audio of such events and activities.
Release of Liability
An attendee acknowledges and fully understands that to the fullest extent permitted by law, the AOBA does not take responsibility for any injuries that may result from their participation in an AOBA event. By their attendance, attendees agree not to sue and to hold harmless and release AOBA and its employees and agents from and against all liabilities for any accident, injury, illness, or damage related to or arising out of or during an AOBA event.
