Keith Williams

Dr. Keith Williams is Admiral’s Vice President of Support Services responsible for oversight of the training and development, quality assurance, special services, investigations, and compliance departments in support of our core mission. Keith spent 27 years with the Metropolitan Police Department’s and retired at the rank of Commander. Over his career, Keith worked in a variety of assignments, including Patrol, Homicide, Recruiting, Evidence Control and the Executive Office of the Chief of Police. He also commanded the Crime Scene Investigations Division, the Training Academy and the Office of Risk Management.
Keith holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Justice, Law and Criminology & Public Administration from American University and a Master of Science of Management from Johns Hopkins University. He is an adjunct professor at George Washington University; instructing in courses such as Leadership, Values and Ethics, Strategic Planning & Budgeting, and Strategic IT Investment and Performance Management. Keith also instructs in Emergency Management at The Catholic University with courses such as Principles & Practices of Emergency Management & Intervention and Disaster Response for Communities & Organizations.
He has completed the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Death Investigation School, and Interview and Interrogation School programs among other trainings such as the Multijurisdictional Counterdrug Task Force Interview and Interrogation Training, and the Public Safety Institute’s Advanced Investigative Techniques Training. Keith is a certified DCJS (VA) instructor and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and ASIS International.
