Apryl Simmons

Apryl Simmons has been involved in workforce development for nearly 30 years, creating collaborations between employer partners and youth, military veterans, dislocated workers/second career seekers, and second-chance individuals. With a current focus on multi-family housing, she is a workforce specialist with Epic Premier Solution LLC, designing programs and training initiatives, including standing up registered apprenticeships and pre-apprenticeships. She also serves her local community at Sussex County Habitat for Humanity’s Healthy Home Repairs program. Prior to this, she took on several roles with the Home Builders Institute, an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders, for 16 years. Finally, she is honored to serve on the board of directors for the Building Performance Institute (BPI).
