Montgomery County: PHED considering phasing in rental license fee increase

Posted By: Nicola Y. Whiteman, Esq. Headlines ,

Montgomery County: A majority of the PHED Committee reaffirmed support for a $6 rental license fee increase at its recent April 26 worksession. (Click on link to watch worksession starting at 101:38).   However, PHED Chair Hans Riemer requested information from Council staff on a possible phasing in of the increase and indicated that the Committee could support such an approach if it does not create a fund imbalance for DHCA. AOBA will continue discussions with the County on the proposed increase.
