Montgomery County: Meet Adam Ortiz, the new Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Director

AOBA invites members to a meeting with Adam Ortiz, the new Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Director. Members with Prince George’s County communities met Director Ortiz during his tenure as that county’s director of the Department of Environment from 2012 through 2018. Prior to that, he served in the administration of Governor Martin O'Malley from 2007 to 2012.  DEP is charged with administering many of the County’s energy efficiency programs, including energy benchmarking, and other program areas such as stormwater management, recycling and more.
