AOBA Helps Local Organizations Fight Hunger Throughout the Region

Members of the Apartment and Office Building Association of Metropolitan Washington (AOBA) demonstrated their culture of giving back by supporting the annual food drive during August and September.

AOBA members raised $1,000 in donations and collected more than 1.5 tons of food for the Capital Area Food Bank and Covenant House DC —local nonprofits that provide resources to individuals and families in need.

“We are proud of our members who year in and year out have shown their commitment to supporting the communities we live in,” said Jeanne Clarke, AOBA’s Vice President of Finance and Operations.

Overall, there were more than 30 member companies who participated in this year’s food drive.
