Virginia Government Affairs/PAC Committee Meeting

The AOBA Virginia Government Affairs Committee and Virginia Metropolitan Political Action Committee will meet on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. For convenience, the meeting will be in virtual format on Zoom.

The committee will review the recent elections and look ahead to the 2026 Virginia General Assembly session, including opportunities for AOBA members to engage with key lawmakers in Richmond! We will also have a roundtable discussion for members to share the experiences with and concerns about recent market developments. Amongst the questions we will discuss are:

Office Market

• • • Ongoing Impacts from post-COVID office vacancy shifts?
    • Are we seeing any positive market changes from return to office push?
    • Are we seeing any negative market changes from federal changes?
    • What are our expectations for market changes in the next 6, 9, 12 months?

Apartment Market

• • • Are existing residents changing leases due to job separations?
    • Are you seeing any changes in new leases due to local economy?
