AOBA Utility Committee Energy Market Update

AOBA and Constellation Energy will present a State of the Energy Market update that will help inform members regarding new developments in energy markets during these turbulent times.  The energy market update will also inform members on what steps they can take to mitigate price risk and budget uncertainty when contracting for their building’s energy supply.

• Mr. William Sticka, Director of Technical Sales/Market Strategy for Constellation, will present a comprehensive energy market update and perspective on the manner in which wholesale natural gas and electric markets will impact members’ operations and costs.
• Mr. Bruce Oliver, AOBA’s Energy and Utility Expert, will present a view of factors affecting long-term energy markets.  His presentation will include a discussion of Pepco’s Standard Offer Service (“SOS”) contracting and pricing, as well as a review of key factors that differentiate the energy supply contracts offered by competitive suppliers that affect pricing.
