On March 3, 2023, Pepco filed its updated Standard Offer Service (“SOS”) rates for customers in the District. These rates will impact customers who are not on a retail supply contract as of June 1, 2023.
The new rates are a significant increase over the previous SOS rates in effect from June 2022-May 2023. Pepco DC customers who remain on SOS rates will see a significant increase in their electric supply costs beginning in June 2023. Rates are effective for usage on and after June 1, 2023
