Back by popular demand, AOBA will host a FREE seminar for members on Virginia's Landlord/Tenant Laws on Monday, June 24 in conjunction with prominent local law firm Compton & Duling, LC. Heather Steele, a Partner at Compton & Duling, will lead this informational session designed to educate members about changes to state laws and regulations affecting commercial and multifamily properties. Sweeping changes are set to take effect on July 1 as the Virginia General Assembly approved a complete reorganization of Title 55 of the Code of Virginia, encompassing laws pertaining to property and conveyances as well as Virginia’s Landlord/Tenant Act and Residential Landlord/Tenant Act.  The seminar will provide members with valuable information on those pending legislative changes.
