Professional Bio

Dante Arminio is a Sustainability Research Assistant for AOBA. In this role, he supports the organization’s sustainability efforts through energy data analysis and legislative/regulatory research, developing meaningful resources that inform both AOBA and its members.

Prior to AOBA, Dante interned with the DC Department of Energy & Environment’s (DOEE) Clean Energy Division, where he researched cost-reduction pathways for the agency’s Solar For All program and analyzed Pepco’s utility reliability data. He completed academic research with the Chair of American University’s Environmental Science Department on air quality monitoring in Northeast DC. Dante also interned on Capitol Hill for a Congressional office, working closely with senior legislative staff on bill tracking, vote recommendations, and legislative correspondence on issues related to the environment.

Dante graduated from American University in Washington, DC, with a dual degree in Political Science (BA) and Environmental Science (BS).
