Margaret O. Jeffers, Esq.
Margaret "Peggy" Jeffers is Executive Vice President with lead responsibility for general management of the Apartment and Office Building Association. Prior to her present position, Peggy was Assistant General Counsel for AOBA with responsibility for legislative and regulatory work primarily in the District of Columbia. Peggy first began working for AOBA as the Office Manager while earning her Juris Doctorate degree from the American University's Washington College of Law. She is a member of both the Maryland and DC Bar.
Earlier in her career, Peggy worked as an assistant for the DC Government Affairs division of Nuclear Engineering Company. She also worked as an auditor for USF&G Company upon graduating from Towson State University with a BS in Business Administration. Peggy is the recipient of the 1995 "Executive of the Year Award" given by the National Apartment Association.
